The long-awaited Christmas and New Year holidays, which we always look forward to, are almost upon us. Feel the joy of the holiday, join us to glorify the birth of Jesus Christ and express wishes of health and well-being for years to come through singing.

This time our repertoire includes carols (koliadky and shchedrivky) which we have known since childhood, as well as ancient old songs that you may not have heard before. Carolling is a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation as a priceless gift of our ancestors, which unites us and fills us with strength and wisdom. Singing koliadky and shchedrivky make people kinder and spiritually more beautiful.

To raise funds for the continuation of Ukrainian-language broadcasting on CHIN FM 97.9, currently the only Ukrainian FM radio show in Ottawa — the voice of truth and resistance in Canada’s capital.At the moment, we only have one hour of airtime per week, Saturdays from 8 to 9 PM, but we are working to expand that.

2. To support tactical medicine fundraising for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, organized by the Ottawa-based initiative C.O.IN.

3. To support Oleksandr Kiyanitsa — Ukraine’s very own Terry Fox. Despite having cerebral palsy, Oleksandr walks hundreds of kilometers to raise funds for medical equipment for Ukrainian hospitals.

   2. 🔜 Next goal: 200 km from Calgary to Banff to raise $20,000 for children's and military hospitals in Ukraine
