UKRAINE Week in Ottawa: August 23–30

Dear Ukrainian Community and Friends of Ukraine!

We are planning a full week of events marking 35 years of Ukrainian Independence Day and invite you to join us in celebrating Ukrainian culture, resilience, and community spirit! Together with our organizations and partners, we are working on the series of events devoted to Ukraine.

• Sunday, Aug 23 — Solidarity Run

• Monday, Aug 24 — Flag Raising Ceremony (Ukrainian Independence Day)

⁠• Tuesday, Aug 25 — Solidarity Prayer

• ⁠Aug 26–28 (dates to be confirmed — stay tuned!):

* Ukrainian Dance Workshop

* Ukrainian Singing Circle

* Special Excursion: « Ukrainian Ottawa”

* Ukrainian Movie Night

• Aug 29–30 — Arts, Heritage & Family Programming at Lansdowne Park with Capital Ukrainian Festival.
