Independence Day in Ottawa Community

A Heartfelt Thank You to Everyone Who Celebrated Ukraine’s Independence Day with UCC – Ottawa Branch

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined UCC – Ottawa Branch in celebrating Ukraine’s Independence Day. This year, once again, we proved that when a community unites around a shared purpose, a celebration is born that offers not only joy, but also faith in victory.

This year’s Independence Day celebration became a powerful example of how collective effort can create an event that truly touches hearts. It was made possible through the unity of our community, the dedicated work of volunteers, the creativity of artists, and the generosity of partners, sponsors, and donors. With Special Thanks to Our Volunteers and Visitors

A special thank you goes to all volunteers and every visitor — it was you who filled this day with soul. Your hands, your support, and your energy made this celebration truly meaningful.

Together, we have shown that the Ukrainian community of Ottawa is strong, united, and inspired by love for our homeland. Yet we also know that without unity there can be no celebration, without unity there can be no struggle, and without struggle there can be no victory. Ukraine is still fighting.

That is why we must be stronger than ever — to speak the truth, to stand for justice, and to remind the world that peace on this land depends on all of us.

This day was not only a commemoration of the past, but a commitment to the future. Ukraine’s victory must come — because behind it stand all of us: united, resilient, and unbreakable.
